Comprehensive Lameness Evaluations
A lameness evaluation is a systematic process used to assess your horse’s ability to move and any pain, change, or uneven movement, including soft tissue, musculoskeletal, and joint pain. Additional diagnostic measures may be indicated based on examination results. Treatment plans are then provided to fit the needs of your horse.
Orthobiologic Treatments
Orthobiologics (also known as regenerative therapies) are used to treat joint disease and soft tissue injuries. Treatments used include: Stem Cells, Prostride ACS, PRP, IRAP, and more
Corticosteroid Joint Injections
Corticosteroid use in horses with joint issues is considered a mainstay of treatment of intra-articular inflammation. Effects are typically long-lasting and result in improvement of lameness and swelling.
Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) is a non-invasive method for treating various musculoskeletal, soft-tissue, and orthopedic injuries in horses through the focused application of high-energy sound waves.
Class IV Laser Therapy
Laser therapy can be a great option for reducing pain and inflammation. Benefits include accelerated healing and improved repair, regeneration, and tissue remodeling. This modality is used for a variety of issues.
